The Air Max 1 ‘Sketch To Shelf – University Red’ reimagines the classic shoe in modified OG detail with a work-in-progress theme. Released in July 2019, the shoe is adorned with original sketch notes and artwork from Nike master designer Tinker Hatfield. The shoe’s upper overlay and heel panel are executed in marbled grey synthetic suede, while the Swoosh branding and mudguard are ‘colored-in’ red like the first version from 1987.
